***EDITOR’S NOTES***
This episode was originally released on YouTube on August 7th 2023.  Keeping in the current groove of the time, K Red made a new beat for the episode inspired by Passing me By and we continued to showcase pictures for the video to spice up the viewing.  During the final editing, Red also played around with a few transitional changes including the show logo at the beginning and ending.  Gone was the recently added “theme song” to save time for more show content.  Warbux also mistakingly declares this episode as the 9th installment of the show, when it was in fact, the 7th.  Let’s just say that maybe before the show, Quinton was on his way and everything was ok!
We hope you enjoy the episode and continue to ask y’all to please rank and review our show, like the episodes and share them with other Hip-Hop fans in your life!

***EDITOR’S NOTES***
This episode originally aired on YouTube on May 8th 2023.  This was the first time we intentionally connected the shows by affiliation as Queen Latifah mentored and introduced the world to Naughty By Nature.  This was also our first time trying to add thematic music to the show including a unique intro theme as well as a beat inspired by the song discussed on the episode.  Both produced by Kalashnikov Red, initially, we planned to let the inspired track play only during The Stats portion of the show and of course, we managed to mess it up!  So we tried to do it live during the recording and when we activated the music, it was so loud, it drowned us out entirely (which we weren’t able to hear & realize until we went to mix down the final product).  So we ended up mixing ourselves into the existing episode “from the future” with the music premixed down and redoing (luckily, just) the entire stats section of the show.  Trying to play like everything we were saying was made up on the spot and trying to give organic “natural” reactions was our finest moments in acting, but we managed to pull off a show that listeners outside of us saying anything about it, had no clue what had happened.  Also, we began adding pictures to the YouTube videos which we also were loading up live during the show.  We spent too much time fiddling with the screen and talking about us putting the photos up where we learned fairly quickly we needed to try to do something different in future shows.  This is another episode where you really see us getting comfortable in our roles and where we want to take the show.  As we begin to have more fun making the show, the more positive responses we were getting by the people.  So there’s a lot of laughter and clowning jabs at each other during this one.  We hope you enjoy the episode and continue to ask y’all to please rank and review our show, like the episodes and share them with other Hip-Hop fans in your life.  We’re slowly growing the IG page as well so to interact with us and get more RTR content, be sure to check us out on InstaGram @RememberTheRecord
Peace to everyone who’s been rocking with us day one and be sure to peep our YouTube Video Podcast, The Rapper’s Corner, as well.

***EDITOR’S NOTES***
This episode was originally aired on YouTube on March 15th 2023.  This was another thematically chosen episode as we went with the proudly Irish, House of Pain, in correlation with St. Patrick’s Day.  We were still trying to find our footing for the location of the show as we revisited Johnny Warbux’s home displaying the extremely Hip-Hop themed kid’s room as their video backdrop once again (that was sarcastic).  We chose to use a more close up view to hide as much of the background as possible. This is the first episode where we started introducing pictures to the YouTube videos to add some personality to the experience.  At this point we still weren’t making our own show notes.

Originally aired on YouTube on December 8th 2022.  This was our second installment to the show as the first one we recorded was labeled as a pilot episode (That show, Lost Boyz “Renee” is still exclusively on YouTube as we don’t have a physical copy of the recording as it was entirely done on Zoom.  First lesson!) Even though this episode has been updated with a fresh audio remastering, it has a series of audio glitches as we recorded this one via Wi-Fi as Red & Bux originally planned to record these shows in their separate houses.
It was made very clear by this second attempt (Episode 1) that this needed to change.  It’s also clear at this early stage of the podcast that @kred_from_therapperscorner & @johnnywarbux were still trying to figure out what the tone of this show was going to be as there is a slightly more serious approach to these earlier episodes.  As you follow the progression of each installment, you start to hear a more relaxed and playful approach to each episode as the show goes on.  We hope you enjoy revisiting (or experiencing for the first time) these fledgling moments in Remember the Record.  Please like, follow, rank and review this episode on whatever platform you prefer to listen to your podcasts and we look forward to sharing even more content as we continue to grow.
